It all started with an idea and an introduction. In 2012, at the the Mortgage Broker’s Association Conference, Steve Mench of Mench Real Estate Capital asked Ed Terry, Senior Vice President at Citizen's Bank, for his recommendation for a mortgage banker in another market with whom he could collaborate and share information. He recommended Ben Kadish of Maverick Commercial Mortgage. Soon thereafter, Richmond based Atlantic Real Estate Capital joined in and Commercial Real Estate Capital Advisors (CRECA) was born. 

Since then, through other lender recommendations, CRECA has grown to include Gimbert Realty Capital in Washington, DC, Ellis Creek Capital in Orlando, Vanguard Financial Services in Cincinnati, EagleBridge Commercial Real Estate Capital and Capital Stack Commercial Real Estate Finance in Boston, Financial Federal in Memphis, MTZ Capital in Tampa and California Realty Capital in Fresno, CA. 

Our members have come together to collaborate and share market information, offering our clients the resources and reach of a national platform and the exceptional service of a local boutique firm. CRECA's offices span the country and are comprised of 18 senior capital origination professionals who boast decades of experience in commercial real estate.
